What happens in Amazon's Focus/Pivot process? Does anyone make it out?

I went through Focus about 18 months ago and made it out, so it's possible. It ran about 30 days with frequent check-ins. The goals were doable on paper, but you're under a microscope the whole time. What helped me: hit every deliverable early, recap every 1:1 in an email, and stick to exactly what's written in the plan. If you don't pass, you move to Pivot, which is basically choosing between a severance package and an appeal. Talk to an employment lawyer early if you can.
